I understand there is a program available for preschool children called Healthy children's coalition that is through the OSU extension program. Do you have any information about this program?

Hi,

The Healthy Children's Coalition may be related to a couple different programs.

The Ohio Childcare Resource & Referral Association provides information on child care, preschool and after school program, technical assistance with training and curriculum for day care centers and providers. Their website is occrra.org.

Action for Healthy Kids is a nation wide program designed to improve the health and educational performance of children through nutrition and physical activity. Their website is actionforhealthykids.org.

These programs are not directly offered through OSU Extension offices, yet, several FCS Educators may partner with these agencies to offer components of these programs. Suggest contacting your local Extension Office to learn what is offered in your area.

All the best..
