Crop of potatoes

Asked June 10, 2016, 12:57 PM EDT

I planted my crop on good Friday and they got about 18 inches high and doing very well then around may 15 we got a hard freeze and for some reason the top of the potatoes where hit hard but it did not hit my tomatoes . The potatoes are growing very good like they didn't get hurt but the tops show no signs of blooming . My question is will they bloom or should I plow them up now Larry

Sounds like your potatoes are doing great even after frost damage. Just because they have not bloomed does not mean they will not produce potatoes. Please do not destroy what may be a bunker crop of new potatoes. Happy gardening!!
