Shade ground cover which will not attract tiger mosquitoes

Part of my back yard is very shady so grass doesn't grow well there. I would like to plant a ground cover (to help with erosion) but we have terrible tiger mosquitoes. Is there a shade ground cover which won't attract tiger mosquitoes?

Asian tiger mosquitoes are annoying.
While they may hide in any plant matter and other places, groundcovers do not attract them per se. They reproduce in standing water around the property.
