This looks like leaf scorch from winter damage and sun scald on your cherry laurel leaves. Does this plant get it's leaves wet from an on-site irrigation system? If so, make sure the heads are lowered so the plant leaves do not get wet. New growth will not exhibit this browning. If the leaves appear with round brown spots inside the veins, then you are looking at a possible fungal problem.

A good source of information for cherry laurel is the University of Florida website: edis.ifas.ufl.edu/st505
