Tree ID

This tree is an opposite leaf tree with the oval/ovate leaves having smooth edges. The flower which is blooming now is white umbel-like racemes. It is a shrubby like tree and it is about 20'. Is this a black locust? What type of tree is it?

This is a huge privet shrub. Privet is not a native; it is Chinese. In fact is considered invasive in Maryland, so if you are considering removing it, that would benefit the environment because the seedlings crowd out native plants. Here is information about this problem with privet:
