Euphorbia rigida,

How to trim this plant to limited how the propagation, I love this plant but it takes over my rock garden and I will like to contained it.

Thanks for your euphorbia rigida question, it is also known as gopher spurge or gopher plant. It's a Mediterranean plant with spectacular foliage, drought tolerant but likes good drainage. Also a deer resistant plant. Trimming the foliage back by half after blooming will keep the foliage trim and compact. Wear gloves when trimming as the milky sap can be irritating, This euphorbia can grow up to 2 by 3 foot, which makes it a great (and showy) container plant.
