The leaves from our choke cherry tree all fell off within three to four days
There are a variety of reasons for cherry trees dropping their leaves from environmental stresses such as overwatering, to disease or insect problems. More information is needed to try and determine a specific cause. I would suggest taking a sample for diagnostics to the Macomb office. When bringing in a sample for diagnostics it is preferred if you can bring a section of branch with some of the leaves still attached if possible. Bring any loose leaves in a container or plastic bag. You can call the Macomb office at 586-469-6440 for more information on bringing in a sample for diagnostics and the cost.
