I’m sorry your question has gone without an answer for so long. I’m not an expert on this subject, but did some digging and found these suggestions:

· Put the boots in the sunshine for an extended period of time.

· Put the boots in an oven at 150 degrees for 1.5 hours.

· Put dryer sheets, baking soda, charcoal OR coffee grounds inside the boots and leave for several days; put the last three items in a nylon stocking if you choose to use them.

· Wash the boots with saddle soap, let dry, then apply saddle leather oil.
