Drip Irrigation Design for 1200 Peonies

Asked May 16, 2016, 9:25 PM EDT

I have 300GPH @50psi available from my well and pressurized system. There is about a 1' drop of elevation from my water source to its destination. My plan is to run 4 zones of 300 plants ea on .5 GPH pressure compensating emitters requiring pressure range between 15 and 50psi. My rows are 100' long, and the distance from my source to the start of each row is less than 150'. If I run 3/4" line to 4 rows and split each row into 2, 1/2" lines (total 8 of 1/2" x 100' lines with 36-37 emitters ea), will I still have enough pressure for all of my emitters to work properly?

I am not an expert on irrigation, but by my calculation you'll be just under 50% capacity if your emitters are .5 gph.
