Lima beans

Have you or are you aware of growing Lima Beans in wire cages (which are 24 inches in diameter, 24 inches high, made of concrete reinforcement, 5 inch by 5 inch mesh) planting a bean (Fordhook) at every vertical strand?

It certainly would be possible to grow lima beans in wire cages such as concrete reinforcement mesh. Trouble is that it will be hard to find the limas that are growing on the inside of the cage. It is easier to harvest when the support is flat and not in a circle. vw
