Bloomed now no green leaves.

My weeping cherry tree bloomed beautiful this year however at the end of blooming we had a frost. Now we have had a lot of rain and some warm weather however it has not greened up yet should I worry yet. Thanks.

Dear Cherry Tree Owner,

I would scratch the bark of the weeping branches to see if there is green tissue underneath. If there is not then scratch the bark back further to see if the tree is still alive. There could have been some frost damage which can be pruned out back to the green living tissue. If you do see green tissue then it is a matter of not worring yet. Have a great day!
