how do I get rid of dandeloins. I tried a recipe consisting of epson salt, vinegar and dish soap.
I then sprayed the dandeloins. I think they must have multiplied!

We suggest consulting staff at a local independent garden center for a recommendation. Garden center staffs usually have a good sense of what works best in their area. Be sure to follow the directions for using whatever product you select and be patient - some herbicides take a week or ten days to work. You can snap the blossoms off the dandelions in the meantime to be sure that they don't go to seed. Remember that a nonselective herbicide like Roundup will kill every plant that it touches - buy a selective weed killer if the dandelions are growing in your lawn or next to garden beds.
