Moss

How do I get rid of moss, my neighbor has it and now it's coming into my lawn.

Moss grows in lawns because environmental conditions are favorable. You probably have growing conditions similar to your neighbor. Moss does not "invade" lawns per se. You can buy products that will kill the moss but it will come back if the growing environment is not changed. Michigan soils are typically alkaline so applying lime wouldn't be a solution. Moisture, shade, compacted soil and low fertility and usually of combination of these factors favor the growth of moss. Here is a fact sheet on moss in lawns:
