Do deer eat asparagus ?

Hi. The information I have looked at suggests that asparagus is a food that deer avoid. However, the caveat is that no one can guarantee that deer will stay entirely away from asparagus. If you have deer frequently visiting you are probably aware of the philosophy that if the deer get hungry enough they will try anything! Fencing is often suggested as a precaution. Sorry I cannot give you a definitive answer on this one.
