Too much Lime?

Asked May 3, 2016, 5:34 PM EDT

My test results say to use 106 lbs of lime for 1000 sq ft. But from my research tells me that my soil pH of 6.2 is right in the middle of what many vegetables require and both on the low end or high end of others, but not out of bounds for any Vegetables. Am I interpreting something wrong? Thanks for any help you can give me.

If you hover over where it says lime index on the soil test report you will see where it states if your pH is ABOVE the normal range no recomendation is given. If you look at your it shows that since it is below, they are giving you a recomendation.
