squash bugs

Asked May 2, 2016, 2:08 PM EDT

We love yellow squash. It always ends with squash bugs sucking the life out of the main stem that comes right out of the ground. This always happens at the peck harvest time or before. Also the squash bugs lays eggs on the undersides of the leaves and are impossible to control after a short time... are there any secrets, tonics, anything that can help me with these pest. I rotate the crop area I plant each year. But that only gets my melons and other crops infected... I am a small gardener. in my early 60's. and have Fibromyaliga which is different day to day. Thank you for your help,
