Marshall County farm land values

Asked April 27, 2016, 5:53 PM EDT

Can you tell me what the difference in land value is from one year ago? our 78 acre farm was appraised one year ago for $10,100.00 and my sister and I would still like to sell but we know land values have came down but we would like an idea of how much. Any help would be much appreciated! William Smaha

The website blow can help you with that number. ISU completes a land value survey annually and publishes the numbers in December. Thus the most recent numbers are for December 2015. The website shows that the average decline in cropland value from Dec 14 to Dec 15 was 6.5%.
