I have an apple tree in my prairie grass environment and there are a lot of saplings underneath. Not a surprise since I let more than a few supplies lay for the deer. But some of these saplings have thorns. Have attached a long view pic of the area, a couple pics of the saplings, pic of the leaves on one of them. Since the site only allows three pics, I can also send along a pic of the bud on the mature apple tree, by reply, when you answer. And thank you. Mike
