can we plant indian vegetable seeds in eden prairie

Hi! i have some indian vegetable seeds. can i sow them directly outside now? can you please give me information about how to grow them etc? thanks sohini

Thank you for your question regarding planting seeds. It is a bit early to plant seeds at this time because there is still a chance of a freeze. May is a typical time for most planting outdoors. There are "cool season" crops, such as lettuces and greens, that can be planted earlier. Some plants require longer seasons than we have in Minnesota. These can be started inside, with proper growing conditions (soil, water and light) prior to placing outside.
