What can I use on fire ants that won't hurt my chikens if they try to eat it

You can use a bait in the afternoon once the chickens are in the coop, and during warm weather, the bait should be removed by the ants by the next morning. It is too cool now to do this. But this works only if you apply by label directions. If you apply too much, there will be bait left.
