Tree indentificatioin

A few if this type of tree is growing near a creek close to our house. I can't seem to find it in any ID book. Can you let me know what kind of tree it is?...Thanks you

This may be a mulberry. They are fairly common, spread by birds that eat the berries. Unfortunately, they are rarely the native mulberry but the Asian white mulberry or a hybrid of the two. However, they are a big food source for birds.

That said, we cannot say for sure if that id is correct without seeing the leaves. Please send us more photos when the tree has leafed out, and we'll pin it down for you.
