small black hard shell beetles in synthetic blankets often look like lint

I am having a time with small hard shelled black beetles only in synthetic blankets seemed to have started in one particularly thick blanket looked like dark grey blue lint all over then the small beetle washed and then threw out 5 blankets synthetic what ????help????

These sound like carpet beetles. They can be eliminated by cleaning the blankets and the surrounding vicinity in your home. Thought the blankets are not a natural fiber, the beetles can feed on hair etc. in the blankets. They are not hard to get rid of but do require a thorough cleaning.

Carpet beetles are not an unusual problem. You do not need to throw away items.
