Vegetable garden in small spaces

Asked March 17, 2016, 5:27 PM EDT

Hello . My name is Amanda ...I am academic , the Forest Engineering course in Brazil, found the page of the online internet at the University of Maryland. And actually I found a lot of very interesting publications. Work on projects with urban agriculture and agroecology in the university course. I wonder if in your country is the common development of gardens in small spaces, such as in apartments or houses with small land is common to have a yard with garden, seeking a healthy diet. Do you have any publication on the site on urban gardens with a focus on small spaces ? I would like to exchange information. Thank you so much for your attention.

Here is a good site from the UMD: http://extension.umd.edu/baltimore-city/urban-agriculture

Here is the search engine for all the Extension programs in all of our states: https://search.extension.org/?q=small%20urban%20gardening
You can put different topics, such as urban gardening, in the search box and look through the results.

The University of Maryland Extension has no specific publication on urban gardening. Here is the closest thing to what you want: http://extension.umd.edu/sites/default/files/_images/programs/hgic/Publications/HG600%20Container%20...
and

Hope this is helpful.
