Thank you for your interest in 4-H. Please visit http://www.ohio4h.org/ for descriptions of 4-H, the Family Guide at http://www.ohio4h.org/families/family-guide
for a listing of available opportunities and projects, and http://knox.osu.edu/
for local information on Knox County's 4-H program.
4-h (Head, Heart Hands and Health refer to parts of our pledge) is a non-formal youth development program for boys and girls ages 5 (and in third grade)
through age 19 as of January 1..
4-H members learn by doing. Leadership skills may be enhanced and honed in areas of decision-making, problem solving, conducting and evaluating programming, self-direction, time management, team work, risk management, self-actualization and much more. Teens in clubs, Junior Fair Boards and camp counselors receive additional training.
