frozen beets how to pickle and preserve

Asked February 20, 2016, 5:46 PM EST

I have a lot of cooked, sliced, frozen beets in the freezer. I would like to pickle and preserve them, not just pickle and leave in fridge for preserve. Will this work? Do I just follow my normal picled beet recipes?

Frozen pickles may be pickled. However, the frozen pickles will have softer texture and less color. It will not have the best taste looked for in beet pickles. Do follow So Easy to Preserve, page 140, Sixth Edition for the Pickled Beet recipe.
