You should consider around 6-7 gal of water per bird processed on average. Chill water along with processing water will both be needed in the process as well as water for ice production.

Thank you Dr. Martin

Just to be certain, this is 6-7 gallons of HOT water per bird? Thanks, again!

6-7 gallons would include water used in scalders as well as chillers and ice production. So both hot and cold water. Use this as a guide to see if you have adequate water supplies to run the plant.
