soil Bray phosphorus and ph

Asked February 2, 2016, 2:51 PM EST

I had my garden soil tested and have 7.6 ph and 111 phosphorus. My garden is about 500 ft2 and I have added a lot of horse manure(2 years ago) and yard clippings yearly. What is the best additive to lower ph to about 6.8? I live in Sherburne county. The organic mtter was 4.7%. Is the phosphorous nymber too high?

Go to the following websites to learn how to reduce soil pH:

High rates of phosphorus fertilizer may induce zinc or iron deficiency. Cropping reduces soil phosphorus over time so do not apply manure or other fertilizers that contain phosphorus.
