Tree pruning in this unusually warm weather

Asked December 16, 2015, 2:00 PM EST

This is the time of year we usually prune trees around our house. With all the warm weather lately, is this still a good time of year to prune?

You can prune when the trees are dormant. As long as they are fully dormant, they should be fine. Normally, they would be at this time of year. You can always wait a few weeks for colder weather if your trees don't appear fully dormant.
