Deer Mice Population Explosion

Asked November 18, 2015, 1:45 PM EST

In one extreme case in downtown Frederick, a young family was displaced from its home due to a colony of deer mice that has taken up residence. This family has lived in the home for 1.5 years and did not encounter this problem last year. Have you heard of similar cases this year? Is there a climatic event (abundance of rainfall for example) that may be causing this event? These mice may carry a lethal virus.
