Can you introduce a young billy goat to already pregnant goats

We just bought a doe with a kid. the kid is 3 months old a billy. We caught him trying to ram the pregnant goats we already have so now they are separated. What was he trying to do?

At that age he was most likely trying to establish his position in the herd. He was trying to show dominance. This can be a problem based on size of the buck kid. I do not like having pregnant does in aggressive situations so removing him was the correct thing to do.

If he was older he may have been trying to breed them as young bucks often do and older ones will try with any new females they are exposed to. Young bucks do express breeding behavior before puberty so this could also be a possibility.
