should I mulch in November, when or should I wait. I live in White Marsh, MD. thanks

Late fall is a good time to mulch because the soil has already gotten cold. Keep in mind that mulch should be no more than 2-3" deep and should be kept from touching trunks and stems of tree and shrubs. When applied over tender plants, be sure to pull it off in spring.
