I've got an abundance of flowers that I want to split up and replant in other areas. do you have instructions and guidance for this effort? for example, what about air and ground temperature, conditions etc.? thx.

We can help you with this, but would need to know what type of flowers you are dealing with.
Are they perennial, meaning they come back every year, or annuals, that just grow for the season and die with the first hard freeze?

Perennial propagation depends on the type of plant as to when and how to best split and move them. Let us know what you have.
If you have many types, it may be best for you to get a book out of the library that explains what and when to do it, and may have photos to help.
