Hi,

I'm sorry that it's taken a long time for you to get a response. Your question was just assigned to me yesterday.

It's not terribly unusual for 'Emerald' to flower in the fall. I have not seen any reports of yield being reduced by its fall flowering, and 'Emerald' is vigorous, so I expect that, while you may have fewer flowers than you would have otherwise, you will still have fruit in the spring.

Here is a list of some cultivars (including 'Emerald') for various parts of Florida: https://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/mg359
