Is it safe for infants to eat home canned baby foods?
I've had a friend request that I make applesauce for her 6 month old and can it in 1/4 pint jars for individual servings. Is it safe for infants to eat home canned baby foods? I have a water bath and pressure canner but want to make sure that it's a safe method for preserving food intended for those under a year old. Thank you

The researched based recipe from University of Georgia So Easy to Preserve cookbook only sites half pints and pints to be water bathed for 20 minutes. When this process is done correctly following a research based recipe i.e. Ball Blue Book also, it is a safe product for children
