I took these pics because i haven't seen this crop before... Very unusual plant... i took pics of field @ intersection of Rt 100 & Monchanin Rd.- No.Wilm. Can you tell what plant this is & what use is ?????? Thanks -- Susan T in Wilmington

It looks like sorghum. It's hard to say exactly why it's been planted in this location but if you can find out who uses the land (I'm wondering if it's park land, farm land, etc.) then you can connect with the grower to find out more.
