2015 was a bad year for tomatoes for everyone in the Midwest. It didn't seem to matter what variety one grew. Most gardeners and even tomato farmers had nothing but complaints about this year's crop. I'm sure this was because of the saturated soils from the spring rainstorms, followed by hot and dry weather.
Trying to choose a tomato variety is nearly a full time job. I would suggest that you examine the following links and see if you can find something you like here. Then, contact your local greenhouses and garden centers later this winter and see if they will carry any of these. If not, you will need to start them from seed either straight into the garden, or grow your own transplants.
Good luck next year!
