What is the name of this grass? Will it take over plants next to it (e.g. tiger lily) If Yes, how do I stop it without RoundUp or chemicals)

This looks like an ornamental grass called Miscanthus, perhaps the variety 'Morning Light'. It can spread and grow large so you should just dig it out from the root.
