Clover(?) in lawn

Asked September 13, 2015, 8:22 AM EDT

Is this a form of clover invading my lawn or something else? Seems to be spreading through under soil runners.

From the picture this plant appears to be Virginia Creeper. Often confused with poison ivy, it can spread rapidly. It is best controlled with glyphosate (Round Up) as a spot treatment. Be careful as glyphosate will kill anything it touches.
