Everything You Want to Know about Preventing Deer from Eating Landscaping

Asked August 26, 2015, 3:41 PM EDT

I plan to install new landscaping in my Fort Washington, MD front yard. We love seeing the deer; however, we don't want them to eat the new landscaping once it's installed. I've read about various sprays and nets that might deter them. I've also read that deer don't like holly, because it's sticky. Are there any flowers or shrubs (preferably of the dwarf variety) of which you're aware that deer don't like and won't eat? Thank you for any help you can provide.
