Mulberry problem?

This is a mulberry tree in my farm. It always has that wet looking spot on its trunk and doesn't show any weakness, but I am afraid this is an illness or something.

Probably oozing from insects in the trunk (borers) or could be a problem (such as a fungus) that is developing at a location of an old pruning cut.
