Plant Identify Please

Asked August 10, 2015, 4:26 AM EDT

I have a lovely plant that arrived two years ago in my garden ( don't nowhere from ) and it has grown really well and I have now split it to get more plants.
It has leaves like a gladioli and seems to be bulbs. The flowers are like little bells and are a bright orange.
Could anyone please identify it for me ?

Thank you.

David.

It's crocosmia--a favorite of hummingbirds. Easy to grow and propagate. It is a relative of the gladiolus. Here is some information about it: http://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/bulbs/crocosmia/crocosmia-bulb-care.htm

Thank you Alice S for your quick observation and answer. Appreciated. David.
