Rhubarb foliage can be subject to several leaf spots. This is more of an aesthetic issue and will not damage the plants. To minimize leaf spots, select and plant healthy propagation stock in sunny, well-drained, fertile soil. Rhubarb does not like heavy soils. Maintain good weed control. Remove infected leaves as soon as disease appears and destroy all plant debris following the first frost.
