Cherry tree

We have a cherry tree that has been having problems for years. Can it be saved? The trunk is cracked and branches are dying, but each year it puts out new leaves and blooms.

Cherry trees need to be sprayed for insects and diseases on a regular basis. Check with your local extension service for an appropriate spray schedule. Also check the trunk for insects damage. If you have any questions, give me a call at 901-752-1207.
