Watering grass/lawn --- Hello,--- MSU research shows that 1/2 to 1 and 1/2 inches per week is enough, depending on your soil type, wind exposure, amount of shade, amount of rain received, temperature and humidity, and quality of lawn desired. Here is an article that describes how to measure amounts your system outputs, best time to water, etc...--- http://msue.anr.msu.edu/resources/irrigation-practices-to-preserve-water-quality If you want a soil test which will describe your soil type as well as nutrient needs for the lawn, you can purchase one here--- www.msusoiltest.com --- --- If you have more questions, please write back to us. Thank you.
