blackberry trouble

You know blackberries have little black sections to each berry. Something is turning some of our sections brown, sometimes before the fruit turns black. Is it a bug or something else?

Hello,

Blackberries that show damage of white or brown drupelets can be caused by sunscald or by stinkbug feeding. Scout for stinkbugs on the plants or nearby.

Thank you,

We had a stink bug on the cherry tree so will go hunting...

Hopefully we'll get it so our plants aren't harmed anymore.

Thanks again,
