Grape Vine disease

Asked July 14, 2015, 10:50 AM EDT

Could you please help me identify the diseases on my new grape vines? I am including pictures for your review. One issue is that the leading end of shoot is dying, starting at the end and going back into the plant several inches. The other issue is the yellowing of the end of leading shoot and shrivelling as far as 2 ft back into the plant. Thanks for your help!

Thanks David! Would it be ok to cut off any of the diseased area? Is there a treatment you would prefer?

Any of the treatments in the pub are fine, pruning any dead wood out would also be good. Prune back to just above a bud a couple of inches from the dead area and remove the pruned wood from the area so you don't have disease spores near the plants.
