What is causing bees to swarm/attack our South facing kitchen several days in mid-afternoon? The windows are 20feet above the ground? It is a shaded reserve area.

Hennepin County Minnesota

I really have no idea. What kind of bees are they? Maybe it is a wild swarm looking for a location to nest. Does anyone in your area have bees? Maybe they see their reflection in the glass and are trying to defend their area? If they attach to your house in a large group you could contact the Bee Lab and report them in order to help get the bees to another location away from your house. Please don't spray them with an insecticide. Here is a contact link and additional links to info about bees. http://www.beelab.umn.edu/BeeandWaspRemoval/index.htm
