Powdery cucumber leaves

Asked July 13, 2015, 12:43 PM EDT

My cucumbers and squash are getting a white powdery look and dying off. What might this be and is there an organic remedy for this

Your problem is likely Powdery Mildew. Organic controls include sulfur and copper. Fungicides work best when applied before disease starts or if started when disease first appears and continued sprays at 7 day intervals. You may want to remove severely infected leaves and begin protecting remaining leaves with fungicide.
