I am interested in buying a bushel of Einkorn or Emmer Wheat for baking bread. Are these very old wheats grown in Ohio? I would rather spend my money locally where it recirculates. Sincerely, Ed Eibling in Tiffin, OH

I apologize for the delay in response but have been doing some research to try and find the wheat you are looking for but with no success. I have found a few links which may be helpful. I searched for Einkorn wheat on Ohio MarketMaker - http://oh.foodmarketmaker.com. Just go to the website and in the box that indicates – search by product, type in Einkorn wheat. Starline organics grows wheat, but did not specify type - www.starlineorganics.com http://www.shagbarkmill.com/ is also involved with ancient grains. Purdue has a good resource on this type of wheat - https://www.hort.purdue.edu/newcrop/proceedings1996/v3-156.html Good luck in your search!
