Dear gardener,

Thanks for contacting us. You should always remove any dead or dying flowers, foliage, or plants. When flowers fade, they should be "dead-headed" to divert the plant's energy that would be spent on forming seed heads. Some plants may flower again this year; others may wait until next year.
